I am an artist working, in pencil and pastel.
I initially studied Fine Art and then Architectural Glass at Central School of Art, at postgraduate level. I subsequently gained a Certificate of Education and then an MA in Public Art from Chelsea School of Art. I have a 2nd MA in Glass, from Sunderland University. I then studied academic drawing for 3 years at Hatahana School of Figurative Art in Tel Aviv.
At present my work focuses on figurative representation. My preoccupation is with the exploration of the qualities of light, air and transluscence. I often include representations of human interruption in our field of vision - electricity cables, telephone wires, plane trails and headlights - interruptions that are so familiar they have become an integral feature of the contemporary landscape.
