I always loved Art but struggled to find a way to express my creativity.

 

Having recently discovered the versatility of dyed merino wool, silks and fibres as my medium, I love creating wet and needle felted landscapes, capturing the light, textures and changing colours I see in nature.

 

I aim to convey through my work the sense of awe and peace I experience as I contemplate the drama and beauty of skies, seas, trees and mountains.

 
I’m a retired teacher and counsellor based in Rossett, North Wales, loving nothing more than walking with my dog in beautiful places, taking that perfect photo, then playing with wool to recreate the wonder I see.
